Tennis: OHS finishes seventh in Abilene

ABILENE Odessa High finished seventh Saturday in the Abilene ISD Team Tennis Tournament, closing with victories against the Abilene High JV and El Paso Eastwood.

OHS started the tournament with a 12-6 loss against San Antonio Alamo Heights and also fell 10-3 to District 3-5A rival Midland Lee.

The Bronchos, however, came back to beat the Abilene High JV 12-4 before finishing with a 12-5 victory against El Paso Eastwood.

Odessa High begins District 3-5A dual matches Sept. 15 by hosting Abilene Cooper.
